Global silver demand up 4% in 2018

The Silver Institute has released a report saying global silver demand rose 4% – to 1.03 billion oz. – in 2018. This is the first time since 2015 that demand has risen year-over-year.

Nakhlak Mineral Complex produced 2,019 tons of lead concentrate during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Dec. 21), indicating a 7% increase compared with last year’s corresponding period, the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported on its website.
